Took one star off because of front desk staff she was rude, dismissive and lacked compassion. My experience with Tomika was 5/5 stars. She was thorough relatable and helped to ease my anxiety. The CNA was also very helpful. The use a portal to communicate results but it’s hard to reply back and calling the office you get the front girl who is rude and not helpful.

This office nickel & dimes patients for their hard earned money. I went in for an annual GYN appointment. Received a bill for an annual check up that should be at no cost to me. They told me because I asked about how my fibroids were doing (I have a long history of them) & the Dr did a pelvic exam (which she would have done anyways) they billed me for an “issue”. I will never go back to this office. Save yourself the headache.

I am uncertain about the operational procedures currently in place within this office, given that we are in the year 2023. My initial intention was to establish contact with the customer service department prior to composing this review; however, it appears that such a department does not exist. I held a positive impression following my initial visit to this establishment. Regrettably, subsequent experiences have left much to be desired, particularly concerning the front offices performance.It is with disappointment that I note a consistent lack of productivity in the front office. Despite dedicating over two years to the pursuit of resolving issues related to my patient portal, no discernible progress has been made. Attempts to establish direct communication through telephone contact have proven equally futile, with voicemail messages left unanswered and unreturned. This poses a significant concern, as individuals with potentially serious medical matters may find themselves without a viable means of seeking assistance or support.It is my assertion that a comprehensive review and restructuring of this establishments operations are imperative. Furthermore, the accessibility of the office itself leaves much to be desired, as visitors are required to request entry by knocking on the door and awaiting a response. While I acknowledge the competency of the medical staff, the overall efficacy of their services is severely hindered by the seemingly insurmountable obstacles presented by the front desks inefficiencies.In light of these concerns, I strongly advocate for a thorough reevaluation of the administrative processes and customer service protocols within this establishment. The continued success and reputation of this medical practice hinge upon its ability to address these shortcomings promptly and effectively, thereby ensuring that patients can access the medical care they require.

I called on September 28 at 3:55pm to cancel my first prenatal appointment because I decided to go with another provider that is connected to Charles Regional Hospital. When I was on the phone to cancel my appointment the receptionist asked “Are you no longer pregnant?” For one, why is that any of her business? Your job is to just cancel my appointment like I asked you to do. And two, her asking patients that is very rude and insensitive to patients who probably did suffer from a miscarriage or etc. She definitely needs to go back and be trained better because that was very unprofessional.

Dr Kia Elliot was amazing. She answered all my questions and concerns. She has great bedside manners and very knowledgeable. I love that I did not have to wait long to be seen and although I was in and out I didn’t feel rushed. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Kia is amazing. I feel super comfortable and safe talking to her. Been a patient here for 20 years and dont plan on leaving. Office staff is amazing as well.

Kia Elliott, CRNP was my provider. She was great and I appreciate the time she spent actively listening to me. This was my first appointment so my follow up appointments will determine if my rating will be five stars..Nice practice & staff.

I had 2 experiences at this clinic. The first time I saw Kia Elliott. It was not a great experience. I had to wait in the waiting room for about 20 minutes after my appointment time. Kia, herself was very down to earth and nice to chat with, but the test results for my appt took almost a week to get. They were very routine tests. And there was never any follow up or anything.I call back maybe 2 months later, at about 1030am to send a message to Kia, and Im told by 2 of the clinic staff that Im not able to send a message or book an appt until I pay my balance. I didnt know I had a balance. And i was informed that if I paid through the website it would take about a week to process. So my only recourse was to get up from my desk at work to go downstairs to get my purse and wallet on the phone, or call back and I was informed that the lady on the phone said she checks her messages at lunch time. I had to handle a patron at work, so I had no choice but to call CWC back. After 4 calls, I finally got ahold of someone to pay my balance with. I ended up going to see Elizabeth Kane the next day. She was very prompt and easy to talk to. She said Ill have my results within 2 days. 2 very different experiences.

Great experience. I am not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from! The front desk staff was polite and courteous, very smooth check in process.There was barely any wait time. Dr. Elizabeth Kane is gentle, caring and knowledgeable. I felt no discomfort at all during my procedure. I was in and out of the office in less than an hour!!

I used to be a patent here and really need to find a new GYNO, but I gave CWC two chances already and the last straw was April 2020 and I know this was the beginning of COVID and thats my issue it was the beginning of COVID before everything shut down. I was told that I would not be able to be seen until Nov 2020. I called my old GYNO located in Virginia, and I was seen the following week. Ugh, this place is so unfortunate, and I doubt anything has changed!

Relocated after a very bad experience at CWC in Silver Spring. After seeing Nurse Hannah, I insisted that both my daughters go under her care as well. She was professional, knowledgeable, took time to hear my concerns vs. rushing me along and provided competent and caring follow-through.Likewise, the front staff was also very pleasant and friendly. Id highly recommend.

I usually go to the CWC in DC near GW but moved to Waldorf and decided to go here. The office is old but the Doctor, NP, nurses and front desk are very welcoming and nice.

The staff does not like their jobs they are rude and incompetent. I wasted an entire day here waiting to get only a birth control shot. Theresa cannot read medical documents as she was unable to determine the results of my pregnancy test and the date of my last shot. They don’t manage documents correctly as my primary doctor faxed over my records twice. I saw them pick up the documents with my own eyes and tell me it was missing. I call the office manager Ms.Eason and my complaint fell on deaf ears. This office needs new management, new staff, customer service training and systems training. Those women are idiots.

Kia Elliotte at Capital Women’s Care in Waldorf was my np. I am 55 in menopause, came in with a problem including severe pain. She listened, validated, is working on solutions. Very nice, took extra time. I am Highly Anxious around doctors esp gyno, due to past trauma from them at their hands and in some past gynos lack of care, she made me feel like I was in capable, caring hands.

Had my first appointment about a month and a half ago, not happy with it but gave it another shot. Had an appointment today at 340, got there at 325 like they mention in the email for confirmation. No one answered the door, couldnt got anyone to answer the phone. Left after 30 minutes of waiting to just be let in. Do not go here

Ive been with this group for almost 30 years. Three safe and successful deliveries and excellent care provided by Drs. A. Kane, D. Bushrod, E. Kane, and Nurse Practitioner Hanna. Not sure where the negative comments are coming from. Both the Clinton and Waldorf staff are very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

I gave Capitals Women’s Care in Waldorf so many chances... but they continue to lack in office competence.During the course of my pregnancy I had multiple occasions where I was referred for procedures (ultrasounds, blood work, etc) where they failed to actually send the referrals to the appropriate offices without me calling and asking them to do so - despite being told they would be doing so and a paper referral wasn’t necessary. Ultimately wasting my time.Now that my daughter is here and I’d like to start using birth control again I am again running into their inability to adequately inform and perform tasks as they say they will. Without going into detail, I am 7 weeks pp and they’ve yet to even order the contraceptive I requested at 4 weeks pp by phone (knowing it needed ordered vs being kept in stock at the office) and again at my 6 week pp appt over a week ago.Overall, I find CWC of Waldorf disorganized and disrespectful of people’s time. Rather than having their ducks in a row, they expect people to make multiple trips in to the office to complete things that could’ve been done during already scheduled appt visits.I am giving them an extra star because my daughter is healthy and beautiful and successfully was delivered via c section by Dr Bushrod.

I love the staff here. Theyre very warm and professional. I recently saw Nurse Practitioner Kia Elliott. Shes excellent. Thanks for all you do!

The Waldorf office is horrible...do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!! I went for a wellness checkup and two years later I received a bill because I discussed a medical issue with the nurse (who didnt even treat me for the issue discussed at that time). Contacted billing and the person was not very nice she just kept saying I had to pay the bill. So sad that there are no good doctors in this area.

Horrible office! My appointment was for 1pm and I left the office at 1:52pm not even seen from Dr. Helen Hanna. Please stay away from Capital Womens Care especially Dr. Helena Hanna. The receptionist was rude and a liar. The staff looked like they havent slept in two days. FInd a better OBGYN. This place is a joke.

The lady at the front desk was very polite, patient and professional. She was clear with all of her instructions and seemed happy to help.

The ladies that work at this Waldorf location are AMAZING! They were so very sweet and kind. I would highly recommend this location. 10 out of 10!
