The entire team at the Waldorf office are really just amazing! They made me felt heard! They are extremely responsive on the portal! Dr. Connell and his team have really made this experience that can be tough at time feel good considering. I really appreciate them!

Jordan gives the best blood draws (I know, weird thing to say), but seriously I rarely feel them. She’s very talented. And Deb and the front desk is always so cheerful and warm and welcoming. Grateful for Waldorf’s SGF staff ❤️

I absolutely love my entire experience at SGF Waldorf. Everyone in the office makes me feel accepted and safe. Timeka (Ultrasound Tech) genuinely makes me feel like she cares about me individually. Andrea (Medical Assistant) is so kind and makes me feel comfortable. Leanna (Front Desk) is literally a gem; she always so nice and greets my calls and check-ins like I’m one of the family. Jasmine and Abbey are by far the best and caring nurses I could ask for as well. I can’t say more great things for such a difficult journey to go through. I wouldn’t rather anyone else on my team 🩷

I love my team! This is my second go around with Shady Grove and have to admit I love this team. Leanna, at the front desk, is always nice to me, and makes checking super easy!Medicinal Assistants Andrea/Sahrai- Are super nice each time I come in. They are always and make me feel comfortable whenever taking bloodwork.Ultrasound tech Timeka reminds me of my sister. She’s so damn to earth, and she knows her stuff. I remember my very first appointment when she was so comforting and assuring.I love this team!

I love all the staff at my Waldorf office. It’s so much more intimate and personable than the other locations. I’m so grateful to have a location only 9 minutes from my house. Always greeted by a smile from Leanna at the desk. She remembers your face and name to ensure less questions. Andrea is the best blood drawer. She always gets it right the first time. Getting your blood drawn with small stubborn veins multiple times a month isn’t the first thing you want to do at 8am. I appreciate her expertise and patience. Timeka is excellent. She takes her time and explains to me what she’s looking for while doing my scan. Jen and Jasmine behind my patient portal entertains all my questions weekly. These group of ladies have been with me this whole journey and I appreciate them.

The staff at Shady Grove is great! They walk you through everything and get your results asap. I love how organized they are. Special thanks to Timeka for being so informative during my ultrasound and for answering all my questions.

Shady grove Waldorf has been wonderful to work with. Leanna at the front desk is welcoming. The medical assistants Andrea and Sahrai are always positive. The ultrasound Timeka is always full of energy and explains what she sees. The nurses Abigail and Jasmine are always quick to answer questions and respond with compassion. Dr. Connell is able to explain the situation and possible outcomes.

Our journey through infertility has been a challenging one, but Shady Grove Fertility has been a true beacon of hope for us. After two years of unexplained infertility, we finally found the care and support we needed. Last year, we tragically lost our pregnancy at 24 weeks due to a genetic condition. The compassion and support we received from Dr. Connell and his staff during that difficult time were nothing short of exceptional.Dr. Connell’s bedside manner is beyond compare. He treated us with such care and empathy, always making us feel like his top priority. One of the most meaningful aspects of our experience was how he referred to the daughter we lost by her name. This level of personal connection brought us so much comfort. His individualized care, combined with his vast knowledge, gave us confidence throughout the entire process.

Timeka the Ultrasound tech makes me feel comfortable and heard. She lightens the mood and is so knowledgeable to make my health clear to me. Leanna at the front desk just makes me feel seen and always has a smile. I have had to be squeezed in last minute and they have had no problem.

Love the energy in Shady grove Waldorf office. Walking in and being greeted by Leanna with a smile, easy going bloodwork by the crew, Timeka makes you feel super comfortable during ultrasounds, Heidi is so awesome and very informative too! I go to the treatment center in Waldorf. The entire staff is awesome! They make me feel welcomed and very comfortable! The clinic is clean and Timeka the Ultrasound Tech is AMAZING!! I highly recommend them for fertility treatment! Seriously I can’t stress enough how wonderful these people are!! They treat you more like family!! I highly highly recommend! I am currently experiencing a successful pregnancy because of them! It’s been a LONG time coming…highly recommend them!!

The Waldorf office is very welcoming and always puts me at ease. My appointments are as quick as possible and very efficient. Sahrai takes my vitals and blood work seamlessly, Andrea has my room ready immediately after and Timeka is the best ultrasound sonogropher ever! Fertility treatment is not easy, its emotionally and physically challenging but the team at SGF Waldorf do their best to make the process pleasant. I appreciate that so much.

We felt so lucky to have a Shady Grove office located over an hour closer than the full service office locations for our frequent morning appointments during the work week. We looked forward to our appointments due to the friendly and welcoming environment.. Thank you everyone at the shady grove fertility Waldorf for making us feel at home throughout the two Co-IVF cycles my wife and I have gone through over the last 4 years. Timeka made my anxiety related to ultrasounds completely diminish by her professional expertise and ability to explain with ease what we were seeing throughout the ultrasound while also realizing we share a mutal love for Maryland crabs and cookouts! Andrea and Sahrai made the clinical portion of our appointments a breeze, always seeming to be ahead of scheudle while providing expert care and service. Leannas customer service, customer support and overall assistance from the front desk made the medical office experience truly enjoyable from we time we checked in through the flexible and efficient scheduling of our next appointment before we walked out. We truly appreciate the entire Staff at Waldorf and would not have been able to start and maintain our family without them!

Timeka is the best Ultrasound Tech at any Shady Grove location. She makes my appointments quick, is very patient with all my questions, and never has any trouble finding my ovaries. Give that woman a raise!

I’ve been to almost every office in the DMV and this is by far my favorite. Given that it’s the smallest of the offices, the staff is very personable and there’s practically no wait time, which is a big deal when you’re trying to squeeze appointments in around a work schedule.

We are so thankful to everyone at Shady Grove in Waldorf! With their help, we welcomed our healthy baby boy on December 1!The staff was always so kind and professional, and while it wasnt always an easy road, they made the experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible.Well likely need to pursue fertility treatment again for future children, and well happily be returning to SGF for their help! :)

Dr. Kulshrestha is very compassionate and she takes the time to listen and thoroughly explain everything. Each time I talked to her in the office or on the phone I never felt rushed. She listened to me when I felt my body responded better to certain medications and she altered my protocol accordingly. She helped us achieve the greatest gift of all - parenthood x 2 when we delivered our twins (boy & girl) in August 2018. Dr. K and all of the staff at the Waldorf office became a second family to me! I cant thank them enough for helping to make our dream come true!

I am surprised in reading the other comments...I love this office! Dr. K is very thorough and explains everything to you. She makes sure that you understand what is going on and the plan of action. Alexis and the other nurses as well as the techs are all great! The office is fast and efficient. You really couldnt ask more from them. They also check with your insurance company before your treatments to make sure you understand what is / is not covered. : )

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. K and our nurse Alexis. The staff was very attentive and explained all steps with us thoroughly and gave us plenty of opportunities for questions. Dr. K gave us realistic expectations, and he met them. We conceived as he was transitioning to retirement and we were able to meet with the new Dr. K in the office at one of our last sonograms. She was also very pleasant and supportive. The whole team was supportive through all the ups and downs we faced.

I started this process over 4 years. Once I get started I will hit a bump which will put a pause on my process. I started with Alexis she was very informative and checked up on me during the pandemic. I was finally cleared to start again this year. This go around was a pain with going back in forth with my insurance company getting authorization for medicine. I want to send a huge thank you to Tabatha for working diligently on getting my pre-authorization complete. I know it was a headache not once did she express any frustration towards me and was still helpful. Amber for taking my calls and routing me in the right direction. Elaine for taking my multiple emails of questions as well. I am a question person and things have to make sense for me before I move on lol. Cant forget Dr. K I am super excited to start my journey with this team.

Military and military spouses do not use the Waldorf clinic. Matter of fact…everyone should stay away from all of the Shady Grove clinics!!! TRICARE SHOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC! Received a referral from my military doctor. Called in June to make an appointment. Next availability was August. Made the appointment, sent in the needed info. Received a message 2 days before that my appointment was cancelled. Couldn’t get in contact with anyone to find out why…finally got in contact with someone. Reschedule the appointment. Called in for the video chat appointment, waited on there for 30 minutes…Dr didn’t show up. Called the office and left a message, received a message back stating that the Dr had a last minute emergency and had to reschedule. Rescheduled for the 3rd time and the day OF my appointment, I received a message stating that my referral has expired. Referral expired in August. I received it in May, called you to schedule my appointment in June…you gave me an August date. Referral was still good when I scheduled the appointment! Have been calling all day…no answer. Finally got someone to answer but she was at the Arlington clinic. Evidently the Waldorf clinic forwarded their phones to Arlington but the dummy who answered the phone in Arlington acted clueless and kept telling me that this is Arlington and not Waldorf. This place is the worse!!! I’m going to get a referral to a different clinic. Hopefully they have customer service skills because this one lacks and the owners and Doctors should be embarrassed. You will not keep clients. I am personally going to file a complaint with TRICARE and suggest they not refer patients to Shady Grove. You are guaranteed to get your money out of a military insurance company but you may have just ruined these payments!!! TRICARE please do not refer anyone to Shady Grove and if you are referred here, call TRICARE back and ask for a different clinic!!

My fiancé has been going to Shady Grove for 10 months. The Doctor very seldom talks to the patients. The new Doctor is a joke.. Alexis was her nurse and she was very unprofessional and nasty if you asked questions regarding your treatments. If a treatment doesnt work, they will continue the same one. When you get an ultrasound they go so quickly and they dont discuss the results. The Waldorf office is very unprofessional and the treatments are a joke. Please go to a fertility that cares about your treatment, time and money.

Let me start by saying that if I could give 0 to this review I would. I went to SG for a consult last year, referred by my provider via Military. I saw the reviews here but I thought they cannot be that bad in regards of costumer service. Let me tell you, I was wrong... they are pretty accurate in many reviews. My consult with the provider was professional. However, the after process has been a long one year battle. When I went to the consult I provided the desk attendant all my medical info and my ID. She said that was all, they will process the bill with TRICARE. A month in after the visit I received a bill about my consultation. Called the office the person said you need to call billing which I did and then I was informed I needed to request to talk to Darlene, who handle the Military stuff. Apparently their billing did not received from the receptionist a copy of my ID; which she scanned into their system... so they couldnt bill for it. I sent Darlen, a document they requested signed and front and back of my ID. I was back and forth with Darlene, about the matter several times... I have various emails. Months later we started receiving billing documents again, and again and again... monthly none stoping. I sent emails to the person, forward the prior emails to her and provided my information ID to get the matter resolved. This person never returned my emails and I even left her a message. Shady G, is pretty fast to bill you and to send you monthly propaganda... for that matter they even communicate with you. However, to fix a problem I have been experiencing with them it has taken a year and I am not jocking, I went Summer 2019. Today Jun 2020, I spoked with a guy name Daniel, and I hope we can get this matter fixed. I was going to leave the matter like this, but this review it is a most... no one should go through this with a huge agency who definitely all departments have communication issues. Costumer service it is the worse, they do lacked in communication to handle issues like this but again, they are fast in sending propaganda. Very sad that Ms. Darlene, did not have the decency to return my emails or even to call to get this matter fix... even if she was not the person any longer handling the matter there is something call, Good business and SG it is not that business. Even the people from billing never took the time to call to say what was the problem why they havent process the matter; it is their job to communicate to clients if something has not been taken care. Their services are very expensive and you can find places with better services at affordable prices. Big mistake from my part, thinking the reviews most have been done by people who probably where not satisfied. However, these issues are real and and it needs to be voice for othersto know if they want to obtain services from them. For their lacked of costumer service they should charge less. Think twice if you are Military Spouse or member attempting to get service with them.

This review is for the Shady Grove in Waldorf only! This is NOT a review of all Shady Grove Clinics.After our visit today we had a surprise sit down with Dr. K and some of his staff about a previous review I had written. After talking to Dr. K and his staff I am upgrading my review of Waldorf from a 1 star to a 4 star. Our biggest issue with Dr. K, actually had nothing to do with him (delaying of the IUI due to a cyst found but was not in my wifes ovaries), this was a recommendation done by another Doctor, (Dr. K was on vacation and we didnt know) and were only told that the Doctor had decided to wait , because they thought it was on her ovaries. Dr. K was very upset, and i can understand why, it reflected poorly on him. Which is why i am taking the time to correct, the negative post.

My personal experience at Shady Grove fertility in Waldorf! I became a patient in August. I received my 1st ultrasound and bloodwork for treatment. I was asked to upload my partners information to my patient portal which i have and no response. Ive left a few voicemail messages with no response. After Dr. K left I cant get anyone to call me back after uploading my documents. This process is hard and costly enough, without the proper communication this process becomes depressing. So much so Im reconsidering the entire IVF process.

The woman at Shady Grove Fertility Waldorf are extremely compassionate and kind. They attended to all of our needs, especially my fear of blood work. This location is my favorite SGF spot to go to. We can’t thank the staff enough for helping us through this process!!

Absolutely the worst experience. The Waldorf Office Rep. by the name of Dana was completely rude and uprofessional. I had a better experience with the Shady Grove Office. Customer Service is not something they care about at this Office.

I had such a hard time just trying to make an appt. After calling 4 times, being transferred to non working lines and then to some random persons cell phone, I gave up and went to the Fredricksburg off (who are awesome!). If the front workers cant transfer a call I definitely dont have faith to trust them with trying for a baby.

My husband and I had our first visit with Shady Grove in Waldorf, MD yesterday. It was a wonderful experience. Dr. Connell, Deb and Leanna welcomed us to their practice with open arms and ensured a comfortable setting for conversation regarding such sensitive topics. We are truly looking forward to receiving help from this team and would recommend that any couples struggling and looking for help reach out to the team.
